Why my screen just went black
Was watching the tv one day and screen just went black, left it for half an hour unplugged, screen still black after turning it on.

Do you hear any audio from TV programs etc, when the TV is turned on but the screen is black?

@gunjack does your TV's power LED light up? If so check your backlight. A simple check for that would be to darken the room and turn the TV on. Then use a flashlight and angle the light at the screen on different areas. you might make out some shadows or see a slight grey color. Your model uses an backlight circuit on the power supply board. So replacing that should repair your TV.
