The slit found inside the ports is broken.

@sleshi you have one USB port that is soldered to the USB/card reader board. The part number for that board on a HP 15-db0000 is L20448-001. The other two USB SuperSpeed ports are soldered to the motherboard. For that you need to either match replacements ports by dimension and contact orientation or get a broken board from places like ebay etc. and harvest the ports from there. Personally I would find a motherboard to use as a donor board.

To work on replacing the USB ports, you will have to remove the motherboard. Use the Maintenance And Service Guide to work on your model.

depending on model and which usb port is damaged, try putting model number into ebay, and look for a usb board, it could either be ports on the logic board or it could be easily replaceable ports just depends on which side has the damaged usb port
