just the HDMI sign is blinking continuously

I have a PIONEER VSX-AX4ASI. No HDMI plugged in. Plug the unit to power up but just the HDMI sign is blinking continuously. Tried everything to reset mentioned on here but no luck. No clicking noises at all. Nothing on the screen besides the blinking HDMI sign. Please help. Thanks

@snowflake22533 just to verify, the HDMI blinks as soon as you turn it on. You mentioned that you do not HDMI connected. What happens if you do connect HDMI? Any change? What happens when you try to clear the error?

blinking hdmi would suggest that its looking for an hdmi signal but since hdmi isnt connected it cant find 1
