S6 Lite not turning on, what to look for?

Hi,

I am unable to turn my Samsung Tab S6 Lite on. I tried charging it with different cables/adaptors and over extended periods of time. Hard resetting did not do anything and the charging port is not clogged. It's completely dead, no vibration, heat, sound, screen output.

I'm planing to open it and look for the cause of the issue. I have access to electronic lab equipment, so I can measure and solder if needed, I just have no documentation or clue what to look for / where to check for what voltage to figure out what is wrong with it.

Best regards,

Tim

I measure 4.25V on the battery, I assume that it is fully charged and the charging port is working properly. Are there any other potential points of failure to keep in mind besides the screen itself? I tried disconnecting all the ribbon cables from the mainboard besides screen and battery, but the tablet remained dead. Otherwise I would try to order a replacement screen and try if I can get any display output on the new screen.

@tim6758799 this "It's completely dead" is never good and could be related to some failed compoents on the main board. Check the Samsung flowchart

Thank you for your reply. A replacement screen did the trick :) For anyone who stumbles upon this later on: I can't recommend the replacement screen I bought from amazon, as I noticed it has a second camera cutout on the longer side of the tablet (watch out for that). I wanted something quick and risk free to return, so that did the trick, but I might send it back and look for something cheaper and possibly better fitting somewhere else.
