Hard to find parts
Currently rebuilding a couple of FA50's and am missing a few key pieces (Kick starter guide 2623202301) - are they able to be sourced or do I need to fabricate my own one?

@mags96190 you can always contact {https://en.impex-jp.com/catalogs/moto/su... |thes people] and see if they still have it :-) Even better, get the 3D print file from here and make (or have it made) yourself. Otherwise keep scouring the internet as well as the local "scrap yards" and other recyclers. You'd be surprised the stuff that you can find. Also, don't underestimate the Moped forums. Lots of people have lots of part in their shops that they might part with. Networking is vital for this.
The largest battle to fight with owning old equipment, is the availability of parts. You will depend on lot on your own skills of manufacturing, repurposing and being creative. This is one of those jobs that takes commitment and lots of time. Just never give up because it is rewarding when it does finally come together.

Thanks for you answer, but the part I am looking for is metal:

I have saved that 3D print file though because I think that might be useful later on :)
I've only just started the FA50's but can already see that you are right about networking
@mags96190 okay part number is Suzuki 26232-02301 and not a lot of places that seem to have it. There are a few like this one or the one right here that might.Give them a call and see if they can hook you up :-) Otherwise, it's time to machine your own.
