charge port doesnt work

whenever i plug it in. i use a powerbank to monitor the power going in and out. sometimes, it is no power, half a wat, and then if i move the connector around in the port a little, it starts charging. is it possible to replace the port.

Yes, but it is soldered to the logic board on most iPads, this one included. It's not the most difficult soldering job, but it's not something I would recommend to a soldering beginner. This video details the process for most iPads.

It doesn't look like iFixit carries the port specifically for the iPad 5, but you can likely find them at other online parts vendors. The charge port for the iPad Air (1), the iPad 5 and iPad 6 are all compatible.
