psp umd motor wont move but laser turns on

Has anyone had an issue where the psp umd motor wont move at all? The laser still turns on and the disc spins.
I replaced the umd drive with a working one and it still doesn't move. I even swapped the motherboard but still nothing. I know you can play games by loading them to a micro sd card but I would still like to know whats causing the umd motor not to move at all, thanks.

It's probably the worm motor which stopped working. Did you replaced that one as well?

You did replaced the UMD drive, but maybe the worm motor is faulty there as well? Is there another way to test?

You literally ried everything, so it only makes sense if the worm motor is faulty from the new drive as well..

Both umd drives being faulty is most likely the issue here, ill buy another one when I can and give you a update, thanks!
