My iHome iAVS16 was working except when I asked it to play music it wouldn’t. So I tried to reset it to the factory settings and now it doesn’t work at all. Can you please help me?

iAVS16 with WiiM Home app for (iOS devices).

You need the following info before you start the process
1.
Your Wi-Fi Network password.
2.
Your Amazon Credentials to log in.

Download “WiiM Home App” by Linkplay Tech Inc. from AppStore.
•
Press and hold the ALEXA button on the unit for 10 seconds to reset it. A voice prompt will say resetting to factory settings.
•
Pict 1 – Tap “Settings” on your iPhone to go to Wi-Fi.
•
Pict 2 – Tap “iHome iAVS16_????” it will show connecting. Tap “Connect only this time” if you get the message.
•
Pict 3 – Wait until checkmark shows connected “No Internet Connection” this is ok because you are connected to the iHome unit.
•
Pict 4 – Open the WiiM app and tap “Add Device”
•
Pict 5 – Select your “Network” and tap Continue.
•
Pict 6 – Enter the “Network password”, tap “Eyelashes icon” to see the password. Tap “Continue”.
•
Pict 7 – Tap “Continue”.
•
Pict 8 – Tap “Next”
•
Pict 1 – Tap “Skip”.
•
Pict 2 – Tap “Enable” to add the iHome to Amazon Alexa.
•
Pict 3 – Tap “Get Started”.
•
Pict 4 – Enter your Amazon “email” and Tap “Continue”.
•
Pict 5 – Enter your Amazon “password” and Tap “Sign in”
•
Pict 6 – If you require an OPT code Enter here “Sign in”. Otherwise, move to the next step.

Pict 6 – Tap “Allow”
•
Pict 7 – Select “English (United States)” or whatever suits you best.
Pict 1 - Tap “Next
Pict 2 – Tap “Done”
Pict 3 – You are successfully connected. Now you can ask Alexa a question such as “ALEXA” what time is it?
