Why is my Tecno camon 18p consuming battery abnormal?

If you tried different batteries with same issues it’s pointing towards a charge port issue.

Check your cable is good or a different cable.

Then check it’s inserting properly and the port isn’t wobbly . Shine a light in the port to check for debris or lint build up.

Next thing is to open up the phone and check the ribbon flex cable is seated properly that connects to the charging daughter board / main motherboard at both ends . That’s the big flex cable, it’s possible it’s become disconnected. Also try headphone socket to see if that is working (if you can boot it)

If none of that works you may need a new charging daughter board . Or replacement flex cable.

Edit: My hunch is the flex has popped out the socket, leaving the phone powerless. It should just pop back in if your lucky. 🤞
