Gas range handle shock while using the oven
I was using the oven on my Thor Kitchen gas range yesterday, with the oven light and the convection fan on (electric). The steel handle on my stove shocked me. The outlet is new (a double gang). Would there be a difference between the shock from the oven light or convection fan, and am I in the right ballpark suspecting one or both of these two electrical devices on a gas stove? Edited to add. I used the oven with just the light on. The handle shocked me. I used the oven with no light and the handle did not shock me.
