Repair guides, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the first generation Sony PlayStation 5 DualSense controller, successor to the DualShock series. Identified by model number CFI-ZCT1W and motherboard model BDM-010.

Orange light rapidly blinking non stop after fully charged

I can't identify what is causing this. I already tested in my PC with a software to check all buttons in my dualsense while plugged in and it works perfectly fine, but once I disconnect and try wireless connection, it shuts down, also when the controller is off, the battery is fully charged and it is plugged in, instead of just stop charging, it keeps flashing rapidly(not pulsating) the orange light. There is no issue with the battery, the only thing that was happening was stick drift and I sprayed some isopropyl alcohol into the stick. Does anyone had the same issue? Oh and the reset button doesn't seem to work either

Hi Rafael!

It's either the battery or something on the motherboard which shorted.

I would try to replace the battery first anyway, just to be like 100% sure.

If that didn't worked, then check the motherboard to see if it still looks OK.

Did you disassembled the device first before you used isopropyl alcohol? If not, then most likely something on the motherboard did short. As the battery was still connected.

Completing the @dan0 esponse, the ribbon cables can be a reason, they are so much sensitive and breaks very easy, ocasionally making a short.

To validate this case, remove the ribbon cables connected in the motherboard, connect your battery and after, connect the board with the usb in computer, this should turn on the controller (with usb connection the controller is always on) in case these cables are the problem.
