Have I ruined the battery whilst removing it?

I was taking this battery out of an old iPhone 8 that no longer works. Had a great battery health before it wasn’t working. I had some issues taking it out and had bent it at both ends, not too much. I used isopropyl alcohol to take it out. Is it safe to reuse?

Not recommended, if you haven’t already caused cell damage, you may do laying it flat again.

It’s a huge gamble on your part because if it decides to go into thermal breakdown when charging you won’t have a phone (or house) left to use.

For the price of a new battery, you can avoid an expensive disaster.
