Blinking light issue H004

Hi, I was trying to put on a record but out of the blue the player didn't work. I turned it on and a red light started blinking. Holding the mode button doesn't work, I also tried reconnecting all the cables but it made no difference. The way it is now the turntable won't spin and I cannot change the mode. i.e. it completely doesn't work, the red light just blinks. I tried looking up the manual but i didn't find anything about this problem there. Thanks for the help.
