Pixel 6 NFC not Working after battery replacement

I swapped out my battery, and after I got it all set up i found out that my NFC wasn’t working anymore, do I need to replace the whole magnetic charging coil and nfc part in the back?

Hi,

Not having seen the condition of the NFC coil after battery removal, only you would know if you did some damage to the coil.

If you believe that you didn’t damage the NFC coil then you could try checking the NFC in settings to make sure it’s still enabled.

There are several YouTube videos on fixing NFC problems that guide you through several options and where to find them.

I’ve just watched a video on YouTube that showed someone having a lot of difficulty removing the battery & from the image I captured, I would say he also damaged the NFC coil and will have a problem.

Hopefully you didn’t damage yours and one of the options on YouTube will resolve your issue.

Hope this heps
