Is the MIL light (malfunction indicator lamp) in the instrument panel on or blinking (see p.68 of the owner manual? If it is then the engine appears to be in limp mode.
The best option is to get the vehicle's ODBII port scanned with an appropriate scantool to check what diagnostic troubleshooting codes (DTC) have been logged. If there are any then they will tell you what's wrong.
