Wierd branching lines artifact on the projector image

I was testing an old NEC VT46 projector i found, and it seems that the image is showing this wierd branching lines artifact. This also appears on the projector default page and it appears to be more prominent on blue/green/black colors exibiting this artifact in a purple color.
