We tried to wash one big towel in our washing machine and the machine stopped running leaving the towel wet in the bottom of the machine. Why would this happen?

I’ve seen this before it’s an uneven load issue just put more stuff in there.

Hi, not a lot of information to go on here. It would help to know the circumstances around the problem.
What cycle the machine stopped in, for example if it was spin cycle then having one big towel could have created an load imbalance in the spin cycle causing it to stop. I’m sure someone in the community could help with more information.

What washer lights are still turned on when the washer stops and are any flashing?
