Did you tried a hard reset first?
Please remove the charger from the laptop. Then do the following:
Now it should boot up again (this can take some time and it’s normal that the LED is flashing).
After this, make sure you download and install the latest BIOS version.
If this failed, you probably need to replace the motherboard to get it working again.

My hp elitebook 840 G10 wasn't powering on. As odd as this recommendation looked, I said why not, it only takes 30 seconds. After holding down the power button for twenty-plus seconds, I released it, and the laptop powered up on its own about five seconds later. Thanks!
