Hi if your phone went off in the water it means the water created a short circuit somewhere inside. Where exactly is impossible to say without opening it up. It would depend where the water got in first. Just a single droplet can cause a short, a flood can wreak havoc . Your best bet is to take it to a repair shop asap and don’t try turning it on or charging.
