Where can I buy lasers?
My Xbox seems to only work with CDs, so I’m assuming the laser need a replacement. Where can I buy one?

Lasers for the Xbox Originals are harder to find every day. They are getting "rare" to find. Note: there are many different drives made for the Xbox Original. So you need to know which drive you have before you can buy and replace the laser.

Drives are pretty expensive for the Xbox Originals, but you can swap your drive for every other (Xbox Original) one.

I learned the drive sometimes reads discs and sometimes it doesn’t. I will use your post in case I need it later.
Alright, first please try to clean the laser! You can also adjust the pot meter to see if that works. Last resort is to replace the laser or drive. Please let us know how it goes! Good luck!
