Laptop Won’t Turn On After Removing Battery While Charging.

I recently encountered an issue with my laptop where it stopped working completely after I removed the battery while it was charging. The laptop immediately shut down and wouldn’t power back on. I took it to a repair shop, and they were able to get it working again. However, after about four days, the laptop went blank and won’t turn on again.

The laptop does not show any signs of life—no lights, sounds, or fan activity when pressing the power button.

What steps should I take next to diagnose and potentially repair the laptop myself?

Any laptop should run with just the charger plugged in - no battery.

However, removing the battery WHILE the charger is plugged in might have caused other problems.

Unfortunately, laptop schematics are not readily available, if at all.

So, tracking down a bad part would be hunt and peck if you could recognise parts associated with the power circuitry.

IF there is a seperate power board, you may be able to replace that with positive results, BUT maybe not.

Otherwise, a MB replacement might work, but may not be economically prudent.
