Why is my back camera is not working?

@mandrakishand first check all of your settings and updated all of your software. Because those things you always want to do first. Then you want to try and start your phone in Safe mode and see if the camera works in safe mode. If it does, you know the issue is a third party app that is blocking your camera. You would have to remove the downloaded APP's until you find the one that causes this. To place your phone in safe mode, and when the phone is turned on, long press the volume down key to enter the safe mode. After entering the safe mode, the word "safe mode" will appear in the lower left corner of the phone screen.

If even in safe mode your camera should not work, it may be time to replace it. Since iFixit does not yet have a specific guide for that, use the one from here It is written in Spanish, use a browser that will do the translation for you, if needed. Replacement cameras are available at many online stores.

While you work on your phone, take lots of pictures. Once you are done with it, take those pictures and create a guide for iFixit.
