Hi @abhijeetchauhan

According to p.6-10 (p.132/214) of the service manual, a code 4 error indicates a CPU test failed.

An error code 212 (see p.6-17, p.139/214) indicates a ram malfunction.

Try replacing the coin cell battery in the generator, then recalibrate it and check if that resolves the problem - see Correcting Battery-Backed RAM Malfunctions on p.6-26 (p.148/214). The coin cell battery model number should be stamped on the battery. Note: Be sure to remember which way the original battery was inserted so that you insert the replacement battery the same way

hi @jayeff

Thank you for the detailed explanation. I understand the steps you mentioned regarding the error codes. However, my concern is that even after recalibrating the equipment as per the manual, the error code 212 persists.

Additionally, I'm noticing something unusual. According to the VellyLab FX-C manual, the generator code should be 1 for the VellyLab C model and 4 for the VellyLab 8C model. In my case, I’m working with the VellyLab C model, but it’s displaying a code 4 instead of 1. Could this be related to the unresolved issue? Any further guidance on this discrepancy would be appreciated.

@mdabdulawalawal

See my answer regarding 212, it relates to 216 as well. Read the manual (linked above) about 216.

I followed your instruction and set date and time but not remove error 212

Reenter the calibration mode and then date and time ok

But not remove error 212.

Have any option to manually remove the error 212.
