Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins question issue

Block Image

My boyfriend and I got Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins and found out that there is glue inside the cartridge and can't open to replace the battery for the game. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not sure, but if the cartridge is glued shut you may be able to dissolve the glue by gently applying isopropyl alcohol, maybe with a Q-tip, and then you could try to cut away at it with something like a guitar pick or plastic card. It's hard to say exactly without a picture of the cartridge. Good luck!

Hmm, that seems like it could be tricky to remove or break the glue. There might be some products online to dissolve that kind of glue, but I'm not knowledgable about that. You could also try to cut it with a really small metal object like a razor blade or metal tweezers, but that could be difficult and/or risky, so if you choose to do that be careful!
