Acer Iconia One 7 (b1-7a0) FRP unbeatable?

I work for a non-profit and we have had 5 of these tablets donated already factor reset. Have tried as many workarounds as I could find to bypass the FRP, but none seem to work. Most seem to depend on getting the setup to a Chrome page, and there doesn't appear to be a path for this model. Happy to use a PC Windows or Linux tool if I could be sure they worked. Any ideas?

Since the Factory Reset Protection is a security feature designed to prevent unauthorized access after a factory reset, the most legitimate methods to bypass it usually require the original account credentials. However, if you're dealing with donated devices and cannot get the original account details, you have a few options and considerations:

  • Make sure the tablet is indeed locked by FRP. FRP will usually prompt you to enter the Google account credentials previously used on the device.
  • Several tools are available that claim to bypass FRP.
  • Perform a Hard Reset

If you've tried standard FRP bypass methods and they haven't worked, using specialized FRP bypass tools or seeking manufacturer support are your next best options. For donated devices, verifying the tablet’s FRP status, checking with the manufacturer, or consulting professional services might be necessary steps.

The donor was a business who has no idea which employee(s) even set them up. It was a good faith donation but access was removed as soon as they Factory Reset. They are in great shape. Batteries are holding the charge well and the screens and covers are in very good shape. Shame not to be able to use them as many people in our business are in need. Have tried 9 or 10 hopeful YouTube videos and DroidKit so far without luck. Just throwing it out there in case someone has something I could try. I think Acer is too unconcerned with anything past warranty, but thank you for the suggestion and I will try to reach out.

If traditional FRP bypass methods and tools like DroidKit have not worked, consider exploring advanced methods such as custom ROMs, seeking specialized repair services, or engaging with tech communities for additional support.
