My laptop keeps restarting after I tried to reset it

Ever since I reset my Sony Vaio whenever I try to boot it up it will almost immediatly shut off, after turning it back on again a few times it will show vaio logo then the windows logo for a very brief period of time.

After that either one of two things happen:

  1. before asking me what OS I want to use then after that no matter which one I chose after a few seconds of the windows logo with loading animation it then it starts at the beginning of this (1) scenario.

This is what used to happen, which brings me to number two:

  1. After I turn it on it shows the vaio logo then the windows logo with text saying please wait then the screen flashes a bit and the windows logo returns but this time it says undoing changes beneath it the after a coupe of seconds shuts off and starts at the beginning of this (2) scenario.

If anyone could I would really appreciate it.

When you say "reset" I presume you mean Windows operarting system. Would you please be more specific?

It may just be a corrupted driver.

Hi @ricrac17, So it didn't even work booting from the the installation media for the installed version of Windows?

Is there anything you don't understand from all the above suggestions. I may have not fully explained some of them.?
