Vintage handmixer gear replacement parts
Folks I'm refurbishing a German 60s vintage handmixer.
I need replacement parts for the drive train cog wheels, the motor gears, that are worn out. Nothing else is faulty.
The gear parts are as follows:
The gear cog wheel part that is in contact with motor axle is made of nylon what I understand, not plastic. This part is attached permanently to a hollow metal shaft of aluminium as I can see, that extends down all the way and ends as whisk attachment (simply cut openings for the whisk metal "ears" to attach securely). So this is a complete part - gear and shaft.
On top of the gear part, there is a separate plastic "hat" which holds simple springs, to secure the whisk in place.
Hopefully vintage experts and those refurbishing vintage stuff can help, because we don't have any serial numbers here and no one manufactures these parts anymore as I know of. We need what I understand custom tailored precise gears that match exactly the handmixer. This one has nylon (not plastic or metal - sadly) gears what I can see and should be more durable than plastic, but ideal would be metal gear cog wheels attached to a metal shaft onto which the whisk parts are attached (like they are now). This would make the machine last a lifetime and even longer.
Anyone knows any gear replacement manufacturers for this matter?
Thanks
