@araacute normally I would suggest a restart but since you said your phone is hot on the charger, this sounds like a bad battery. Of course, it can also be another issue with the power circuit, most commonly the charging board, but start with a new battery. Once you've changed the battery, re-evaluate and let us know what you find out.
