Accidentally tore the lower display connector

I have replaced many iphone batteries before but foolishly opened an iphone 8 without realizing that it opens differently than earlier models I've worked on. The lower display connector is now torn and I am trying to figure out how to repair it. Please help. TIA!

The lower connectors on the iPhone 8 consist of the digitizer and the display cables that plug into the motherboard. These are not generally considered repairable, so if you've torn one I'm afraid you're now in the market for a new screen.
