The 2014 edition of the Kindle, part of the 7th generation, includes a touchscreen and same form-factor as the Kindle Paperwhite, but lacks the backlight.

How can I fix my kindle Paperwhite screen separation?

Block Image

I went into replace the battery and unfortunately the screen separated from the glass. (Bottom right corner) It's not cracked or broken but acts more like a protective film you'd put on your phone. When I try to push that area out like you would remove air bubbles, these lines go away for a second. So I'm assuming there was some sort of adhesive keeping the glass and plastic film together. Do I have to replace the entire glass or is there some way to salvage this?
