The X light is not working

Hi guys, hope someone can help, xbox s/x controller, the X light (the button that turns it on) is not lighting up, even when connected to a usb cable, however, the controller works just fine, tried updating the controller with the xbox accessories app, but still no joy.

So, if I'm correct, it doesn't matter what you do, the X logo does not want to light up?

Did you've checked your battery contacts? Are they still fine? Can you post a picture for us, so we can check as well?

What happens if you try to get connect the Xbox controller to the PC, does this work?
