My earbuds only box change and buds are not change

Evening mate,

I think we'd need more information to try and solve this. Could you answer some of the questions below:

1) Have your airpods come into contact with water?

2) Have you cleaned the contacts? Electronics of around that age do exhibit behaviour where the earbuds won't charge as a result of dirt around said contacts

3) As a last resort, have you taken them to apple yet? it may just be best to get support from apple themselves
