Left bud no longer makes sound

I recently dropped my left ear bud on the ground while taking it out of the case and now it no longer makes sound. However, it still charges and the sensor on the side still works to change between noise cancelling mode and adaptive sound control. I've read that these earbuds can withstand decent amounts of shock and I am very gentle with them in general. I have tried resetting the headphones to factory settings and also forgetting them on all paired devices but the left bud still doesn't make any noise. What else can I try?
