Battery recently replaced, wont charge to 100%

The charging light is orange, I currently only have an 85W charger. I’ve had it charging for two hours but it hasn’t moved at all. Here is my coconut battery info.

Update 6/30/24:

Still don’t have new 60W charger, went to see if anything has changed. I updated and I drained the battery to zero and now it won’t stay on for more than a minute despite being connected to the charger. The manufacturer date of the battery also changed. It also still displays battery is not charging on the toolbar.

@livfe possibly, this was a given to me since the original battery wouldn’t charge. I’ll give that a try next.

@jongood99170 is your logicboard a 820-3476? Do you have a multimeter and are you comfortable doing some component level checking, if needed?

CoconutBattery is showing power entering but only 10watts! The charger is holding you back the batteries temp is within the normal range, so the battering it’s self is not stopping things.

Would getting the 60w charger fix this? I used the 85w charger on a macbook air early 2015 and it was charging no problem.

@jongood99170 - While I would use the correct charger, the issue is just a bad charger as far as what CoconutBattey is telling us.

Gotcha, I’ll update as soon as my new charger comes in tomorrow. If not the charger what else could be wrong? I’ve reset SMC, PRAM, and NVRAM and nothing has changed. Possibly logic board issues?

@jongood99170 - There is a comparator logic which monitors the voltage based on two resistors which knockoff chargers tend to burn so SMC is unable to get a clear view of things. But I like first addressing the easy things before digging into the logic board.

Okay I have the new charger, still says Battery is not charging. Battery is currently at zero it’s pulling 6.33 watts from the 60W charger. What should I do next?
