(SOLVED) Orientation of clock battery

Brilliante here, focusing more on removing the battery than noting its orientation. Now that I have the replacement battery, I don’t know which way to insert it is the positive side facing inward or is it facing outward?

The inner disk (positive) side of the battery connects to the middle contact, the outer shell of the battery is clasped by the negative wall contact. This newer style of holder is confusing!

So the positive side faces the spring, which is the single piece of metal.
