Apple's seventh-generation smartwatch, with optional cellular connectivity, released October 15, 2021.

Not booting after battery replacement

I just replaced my bat using the instructions on ifixit. The first night, I had it going to the low battery screen like it’s starting to charge. I let it sit there overnight, it’d occasionally ding like it was seeing a charger and show the apple logo. When I took it off the charger it stayed on for ~5mins then shut down. I couldn’t get it to come back without putting it back on the charger. Today I opened it back up to see if I had something connected wrong or something, and now all I get is an apple logo that shows up for a few seconds and then fades out. Can’t even get to that low bat screen anymore. Any thoughts on what troubleshooting steps to take next would be greatly appreciated.

Hey AnnabananaS, at the time of installation of the new battery, did you get a chance to hook up the battery to a capacity tester to ensure it was the correct model? I would potentially go to a repair shop if possible or someone you may know with a capacity tester to see if the battery itself is at fault rather than the device. Please let me know if this helps!
