I'm no expert on these gaming laptops, but from what I find on the web this is an older Intel Haswell architecture (Core i7-4710HQ) which is a soldered on CPU module (FCBGA1364 socket is a PGA solder on setup) Intel Core i7-4710HQ Processor spec

In reviewing the specs of the system from here: ASUS ROG G771 Specs this system only supports 12GB of RAM but does have a M.2 slot which can allow you to upgrade the on system storage.
