A pair of wireless noise-cancelling over ear headphones released in 2022 by Sennheiser.

Why do I have static noise in my left earcup?

Since I got these headphones I fell in love with with the brilliant sound as well as comfort. But my left earcup started to make some static noise. It started a month ago when my headphones randomly turned off by them selfs.(they still do sometimes) Has anyone an idea what i could do to fix them?(Yes i tried uninstalling everything and setting them back but it didnt work)

Same issue here... I heard it's a chip issue and you can't do much to fix it

I had this issue and got sick so left the headphones aside for a while and told myself I’d remember to contact Sennheiser. I totally forgot but, a few months later, after losing my other, cheap earbuds, I thought I’d give them another go. I’m not sure what it was but would think maybe that the battery draining fully has reset them and the issue has gone. Hopefully for good but we’ll see.

Unfortunately I've just got the same problem, left earcup has static. I think I read somewhere else it's a humidity issue but I can't confirm that. I've tried to open them up but they don't seem very friendly in there.

Hi everyone! I found the solution to all the annoying problems! My headphones were also producing white noise, and the noise cancellation was working terribly! I bought mine second-hand without a warranty, so I had nothing to lose—keep that in mind! The solution is super simple! You need to take apart the left speaker (4 small screws). You'll see two yellow ribbon cables there. You have to cut those!

Noise cancellation still works—don’t ask me how, because I have no idea... You can still make phone calls perfectly with the headphones, and all other functions work flawlessly! The only issue is a bit of wind noise on windy days, but on the metro or bus, it’s absolutely great in every way! Let me know if the solution works as well for you as it did for me!

This is wild, but actually works. I had a similar white noise issue, but in the right earcup. Opening the cup and trying to dry the insides helped but only for a short while. However, cutting these two orange ribbons the user above mentioned got rid of the problem completely.

One thing to keep in mind though is that on the right earcup the ribbons affect the touch functions, so cutting them disables all the touch functions. Apparently there might be a way to just "unplug" the ribbons by opening a small latch they are attached with, but I couldn't figure out what part might've been the latch. I made the decision to just cut the ribbons and think it's lesser of the two evils, because now I can at least use the headphones comfortably, whereas the white noise was just unbearable.

I managed to disconnect the ribbon cables.

The latch is the black part above the ribbon. Lift the ribbon and the latch should open.

I have disconnected both orange wires, but I still hear faint noices once in a while. Do you also have this issue?

So it seems that the issue is the humidity in the mic that works on the noise canceling. I'm working on getting the humidity out of it now. Will let you guys know how it goes.

Ok, I tried putting the headphones in dehumidifying pellets, but the noise didn't disappear completely.

Today, I disassembled the left headphones and put dehumidifying pellets directly on the mic for the ANC. The noise decreased greatly, but it remained in the background. I will leave it with the pellets today to see the results.

Hello, did the issue disappear completely?

crwdns2934271:0crwdnd2934271:0crwdne2934271:0

So the issue disappear but only for a short amount of time. Maybe a week or two. After that the noise came back. i took them to the support team in my country and they where not able to fix it either.
