Is my charger input terminal damage or is the battery damage?
The charger got broken and so it was off for almost a year. I got a new charger and tried to charge it but it won't charge.

What is the full model number of the laptop as shown on the product information label on the bottom of the laptop?
Does the laptop indicate that the charger is connected but the battery is not charging or is there no indication at all i.e. no charge light?
If the charge light is on but the battery is not charging, this is not surprising after 1 year of not being charged.
Leave the charger connected for 2-3 hours and then check if the battery has kicked back into life and it is beginning to be charged.
If it does then allow it to fully charge before attempting to turn the laptop on and then turn it on and check what happens.
