the phone charger is not working , what should I check?

You didn't specify the year model or whether it is for the front or for the rear seat so check in the instrument panel fuse block if fuses F24 (front wireless charging) and F37 (rear wireless charging) are both OK.
These fuses are applicable for XTR 2017 - 2021
