What to explain to customers

Hi everyone, my first post in here, and I hope some of you can help me out :)

I really need someone who knows iPhone / mobile repair to answer me on one question. I just started my own little repair business, and have learned screen replacement, battery replacement, camera etc. I`ve had customer who told me since the battery is not original from Apple (I am using high quality parts only)

They are scared the phone could be warm, could cause fire etc because of battery replacement? I dont want to be responsible for something like this, if the phone gets warm when changing the battery or whatever. What do I answer to the customers and what do I do in situations like this? Like I said, I am just using the best parts and doing battery replacement like every other mobile repair shop.

Thank you to everyone who wants to help!

Best regards

The fears of your customer is slightly far fetched, the phone will always heat up when in use but not because of the battery, the chance that even a broken battery are low as long as you don't puncture it and aslong as you don't have a defective part the chance is impossibly low. If it does come from a reliable source (such as iFixit) they continously check their parts to make sure they are up to quality standard. And if they are concerned about that then an apple genuine battery will get warm when charging, its just because of the flow of electricity it will get warm.

@imados no, aslong as you do anything to mess up the heat sink you should be fine, the battery doesnt produce the heat in a phone it is the CPU and other chips sending, collecting, and switching energy and that movement leads to all the heat

@Hampter I understand. Once again, thank you so much.
