Hi @saikeshav
The screen is faulty and it needs to be replaced.
Here's a video that shows how to do this.
Depending on the colour of your phone, search online for one of the following part numbers, to find screen suppliers that suit you best.
black = GH97-18229B
gold = GH97-18229F GH97-18229A
white = GH97-18229C

Hello @saikeshav
That sounds like a frustrating situation. It's possible that the fall caused more damage than initially visible. I'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support or visiting a repair centre to see what options are available for fixing the issue.

Hi @jaejohnson948,
The idea behind ifixit is to provide a platform which helps people to fix their devices themselves by providing information on how to do this e.g. service manuals, guides, written instructions etc.
Advising people to contact a repair centre is something no doubt they have thought of themselves.
Also in this particular case advising them to contact an Apple service centre for a Samsung phone may not be the best option possible.
