Why is my device does not power?

My device is not working. I tried charging it but it does not power. I also checked the outlet if its the problem, but its working. Its just my device does not power.

Plug in the laptop using the DC Jack (not USB-C) and stick a paper clip or thumbtack into the small pinhole next to the middle screw on the base (it's a reset button and should click), and repeatedly click the button until the charge light comes on.
