Switch Lite is turning off randomly, not sure why.

I had swapped the joysticks for Hall effect joysticks. I had taken everything apart and put everything together carefully. After putting it all back together my switch lite turns off randomly when I do slight twists or taps on the shell. The screen will also cut out randomly.

Hi Logan!

Most of the time caused by cables which are not fully in OR due damaged components/traces on the motherboard! Can you double check to see if you can see any damage on the motherboard or missing components? Also re-check if all the cables are connected properly.

If you are not sure, please feel free to share some pictures with us (or video(s)).

Thanks in advance!

I had this issue with my switch light also. I made a guess that some ribbon cable that was attaching the monitor to the motherboard might be the issue. I ended up unplugging each ribbon cable and plugging them back in to make sure they are in tight. Works perfectly now.

I think with use the ribbon cables can wiggle free and cause a spotty and inconsistent connections causing the display to flicker or even shutoff.
