TV screen damage after disassembly?

I was given an LG 50UH5530 for free that had a backlight problem. I replaced the backlight strips ok, but now the picture on the right half of the screen isn't displaying greys correctly. Pure white shows up with slight red tint, black and even colors seem ok, but any mid-grey tones just show up as black. I swapped the ribbon cables to the driver boards and the problem stayed on the same side. Did I ruin the display while I was poking around in there, or is there additional troubleshooting I can do for this?

@kylemartin72918 that could still be a backlight issue if you got some "not so high quality" strips. It is also possible that this is related to issues with the driver boards. Check your voltages on the T-con board (use the big inductores to measure) since it is possible that your Gamma IC may be having issues. Of course, double check your work and make sure that all the diffuser sheets etc are properly installed etc.

Thanks! I combed over everything and found a small crack in the panel. Not sure if it happened during or before my repair, but I think that's what did it.
