Hi!

Are all the cables correctly connected? Perhaps the replacement part is faulty. If you connect your old game card slot, is the issue resolved then? If yes, you should ask for a refund (or swap it) and get a new one!

Ah, the infamous pop of death. It's usually caused by the speaker cable being damaged or not seated properly, but the display cables can cause it too. Are any of those visibly out of place? If so, reseat them

The lower screen cable is in red, the speaker and top screen cables are on the other side of the board (in yellow).

If no specific one of those is visibly misaligned, I think the best option is to reseat all of them. Clean the connectors with a toothbrush and 90%+ isopropyl alcohol before plugging then back in, just to minimize the chance of having to do this again.
