Why is my touch screen not working?

The HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5 Notebook PC features a choice of Intel Core processors, including the i7-12700H and i5-12500H.

It was working on and off but now it isn't. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers but still not working.
