@jaygamer1 that sure sounds like a failed backlight array. Turn your TV on and use a flashlight and shine the beam at an angle against the screen. Do that in a darkened room. See if you can make out shadows or shapes or even the Toshiba splash screen. If you do, then it is your backlight that has failed.
Your TV uses 8 Backlight strips and are available for a cost of around $USD60 Not a terribly complicated job but you do have to disassemble your complete panel. Let us know what you find out when you do this.
@jaygamer1 awesome. Since you have sound and the backlight, you can try a new T-con board (if it has a dedicated one) or a Tape-off. Something like shown on here
