Repair, disassembly, and troubleshooting information for the Xbox Series X, Microsoft's 4K gaming console. The Xbox Series X was released alongside its companion console, the Xbox Series S, on November 10th, 2020.

Where is the internal speaker located?

The internal speaker of my Series X, which normally plays the startup and disk eject chime is broken. I want to replace it and have been searching online for its location inside the chassis, but I can't find anywhere how to replace it. Does anyone know if the speaker is on a seperate daughterboard?

I think it's that big black circle. I'm not entirely sure, so I could be wrong.

I am not sure either, although it seems too small to be a speaker. It is strange that it isn't mentioned anywhere in teardowns

That looks just like a screw hole.
