It seems that the temperature sensor is integrated with the valve assembly as it is not listed as a separate part - see parts list below.
Here's the tech sheet for the washer that will help.
Go to p.18 TEST #5: Temperature Thermistor to see how to check if the thermistor is OK or not.
If the thermsitor is faulty then you may have to replace the valve assembly.
Maybe check where the two black wires from control board connector J2/1 and J2/2 go to on the valve assembly, as they connect to the thermistor.
Here's a parts list that is useful as it shows the manufacturer's part number for each of the parts in the machine e.g. the original valve assembly part number was part # W10758829 and has been superseded by part # W11220230. Although if you search online for the part number only you will get results for suppliers for either part. Just a way to find suppliers that suit you and not the one linked
